Water Conservation

Saving Water

The painting and decorating industry have traditionally used large quantities of water to clean up painting equipment. On average it takes 30-35 litres of water to clean a standard roller and tray, and 4-8 liters to clean a house painting brush and pot. An average painter will clean up 2-3 times a day, 5 times a week. As you can see, without implementing strict water conservation painting policies a large amount of water is wasted every year.

Bob De Groot Painting Contractors have progressively implemented water saving policies that have enabled us to reduce our water usage for an entire job to just 20 litres of water in total.
